REPORT ON PUBLIC OPINION STUDY IN POLAND AND RUSSIA

The study has been conducted since 2012, with three research waves carried out in Russia and Poland (2012, 2014 and 2020).

The polls were conducted by ARC Rynek
i Opinia in Poland and by VCIOM in Russia.
In 2012–2020 the study was ordered
by the Russian-Polish Center for Dialogue and Understanding in Moscow.

The report utilizes publicly available monitoring questions from the 2012 and 2014 polls.

A comparative study was conducted in Rus- sia and Poland by the means of telephone polling. The sample groups were 1 600 re- spondents in Russia and 1 000 respondents in Poland. Both sample groups were rand- omized, stratified and representing Russia’s and Poland’s adult population by gender, age and locality type.

The polls were conducted simultaneously in December 2020, by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) in Russia and by ARC Rynek i Opinia in Poland.
